GT Silver was historically developed as the signature launch colour for the Porsche Carrera GT and continues to be a premium colour which features on a lot of the GT programme cars. It is a rare and costly option costing an additional £2000 over the base colours.
 
The Sport Edition models were a limited run production from Porsche with around 250 examples made for the UK market. This example being one of the last off the production line with nearly every desirable optional extra available ticked!
